Granny Square Earrings

 

Size 7 steel hook

Small amount of thread yarn ( I used Aunt Lydia's)

Small beads optional

 

Chain 4, join with slip stich to form a circle.

ch 1, sc into ring (with beads if using them) eight times

(eight sc) join with ss to beginning sc.

Ch 3 dc in same st; ch 2 . dc 2x in same st; dc in next st,

2 dc, 2c, 2dc in ext st around.

Instead of joining to top of ch 3, I ch 3 then joined to the top of beggining ch 3.
