about the afghan falling off your shoulders.
All American Denim Striped Afghan - Talking Crochet
This afghan measures 50" x 70" not counting the fringe. Red Heart TLC worsted weight yarn was used.

This afghan will make you proud for years to come. It is a beauty. The afghan is completed in the afghan
stitch and the roses are charted out for you.
The afghan is crocheted in red, white and blue stripes. You'll need worsted weight yarn. The designer
says that gauge isn't important. If you would like it to fit your bed properly though, I would check the length after a few
rows.

Autumn Evening - Priscilla's Crochet
The afghan is completed in stripes using black and 9 different colors. You'll need a size J hook. She
used Vanna's Choice yarn, but any 4-ply acrylic yarn would work well.
Blue Boyfriend's Afghan - Bean's Crochet
The afghan has a striped open weave, but she says it is still very warm. She used Caron One Pound skeins
in 3 different colors of blue. This afghan is a good pattern for beginners, because it is crocheted with just single crochet
stitches and a size P hook, which would make it extra quick to finish.

The pattern is for another striped afghan, but is beautiful. a size K crochet hook was used and Red Heart
Super Saver yarn. You'll need to download the pattern.

Butterflies Galore is a unique pattern, because each butterfly is worked separately and then joined. It
is an open weave, but the butterflies look real. Size 10 crochet cotton and a steel hook is needed.
